XA FORCES MID is a Lightweight, all conditions boot for moving fast in the most critical situations. Based on Salomon's iconic XA PRO 3D, this SPECIAL FORCES oriented boot is more durable in every way, and has a beefier outsole.

Contagrip

Designed for adhesion on wet or smooth surfaces, Contagrip FD uses flat and sometimes siped lugs, with a highly durable compound. Perforated grooves improve friction on wet and flat rock surfaces. EnergyCell midsole, a high performance EVA foam, provides shock attenuation.

3D Chassis

A low-profile Advanced Chassis, placed between the outsole and midsole, maximizes security, motion control, energy management, and push-through protection for a precise, stable and responsive ride. EnergyCell midsole, a high performance EVA foam, provides shock attenuation.

SensiFit

SensiFit cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug, and virtually customized fit all around the foot. Molded OrthoLite sockliner delivers comfort and breathability.
