The replacement grate measures 13-1/2-inches in order to fit inside of and nest in the charcoal kettle grill appropriately. The replacement grate fits 18-1/2-inch kettles. Driven by his passion for grilling the best steaks for family andfriends, Weber’s founder, George Stephen, invented the revolutionarykettle grill in 1952.
