Grip, Foothold, Stability & Cushioning

The X ULTRA 3 GTX has evolved into an even more effective hiking shoe. Thanks to Descent Control technology, it efficiently tackles technical hikes and really shines during tough descents. Wear this pair and head downhill with a spring in your step, even in wet conditions. Protective mudguard around the base of the foot protects the lateral and medial sides from muddy trails. Anti-debris Mesh upper prevents debris from being trapped between your foot and the footbed. EnergyCell midsole, a high performance EVA foam, provides shock attenuation.

Advanced Chassis

A lightweight Advanced Chassis, placed between the outsole and midsole, maximizes motion control, energy management and push-through protection for an efficient, stable and responsive ride. EnergyCell midsole, a high performance EVA foam, provides shock attenuation.

SensiFit Foothold

SensiFit cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug, and virtually customized fit all around the foot. Molded OrthoLite sockliner delivers comfort and breathability.

GORE-TEX Waterproof

Added GORE-TEX membrane keeps your feet dry from the outside as well as from the inside. Waterproof material remains unaffected by water even when under pressure, completely preventing water from entering the shoe through the upper.
